Two Face Pizza & Taproom is a kopitiam style pizza and pasta place along Eng Hoon Street by the night. During the day, it's an old school kopitiam selling favourite Yong Tau Foo and Vegetarian Bee Hoon.
So what happens at night is some chalk blackboards are used to cover the stalls running during the day. Interesting right? The reservation scheme is rather cute, by the way! They used this smaller black board which they will scribble the name and time of reservation instead of the usual "RESERVED" side with no other details.
The ambience is overall quite cosy but a little space constraint (might not be that gathering friendly).
How things work in Two Face (as extracted from the menu) 1. Chope a table and note your table number. 2. At your table, go through the menu and decide on your order. 3. When ready, proceed to the counter to order.
Good news, the price on the menu are NETT price, no GST and service charge. ☺
As an appetizer, we ordered Oyster Mushrooms ($8). It was quite a disappointment, the battered oyster mushroom was served rather cold. Cannot accept the taste of the oil with the mushrooms'. (P.S.: we did feedback to a staff that night. However, I think that that staff did not really handle us that properly, his system literally hang when we told him about the situation before replying to us that he will feedback to the kitchen).

For the main dish, hubby and I shared Linguine Marinara ($16). The serving was good, with generous amount of seafood. I like the taste of the tomato sauce, nothing too over. I would recommend this dish.

For drink, we ordered Lychee Sprite ($5) which will not go wrong.. Their signature drink is something to do with Cai Xing. You will see green color drinks on most patrons' tables, not hard to notice. :)

Here comes the sinful calories monster dessert, Shibuya Honey Toast ($12)! Two scoops of vanilla ice cream with a uber thick toast, served with maple syrup! They are cut into 9 smaller squares for easy eating. It is recommended for sharing among at least 2 to 3 average eaters.

Those knives that are used for eating beef steak were served eating the dessert. It makes eating more convenient and neater. Imagine if you are given butter knife, the knife will have a tough war with the bread. We wouldn't want to think about how the food will turn out to be unless one can finish one square in one mouth.
Will I go back again? I will probably give a yes, on a cooler day (there's no aircon, and the wall hung fan nearly dropped down!). The prices were reasonable. And I have yet to try the thin crust pizzas, and many other pastas.
