The Orange Thimble

Unexpectedly visited The Orange Thimble for sweet treat last Sunday! Hippie!

The Place

Rather small but cosy-ily busy. A little squeezy cos' of the crowd, I should say. Menu were written on blackboard. Mixture of different types of chairs, stools, classic wooden kopitiam chairs and metal chairs. Oh, not forgetting, a super retro cash register was placed at the entrance. Super cool!

Artists' art canvas found on hanging on the wall are for sold too!

The Food

The hubby and I shared double scoop of ice cream, $7.50. We chose Earl Grey with Figs and Vanilla. Their recommendations are Earl Grey with Figs and Sea Salt Caramel, fyi.

Vintage chicken bowl was used to serve the ice cream.. And most importantly, the ice cream was good, at least to us! Not sure if they were hand made, but it tasted like one. The texture was chewy! Thumbs up! We swept the bowl clean! :D

The Overall

Food  The ice cream is awesome.
Service  Neutral cos its self service.
Ambience Unique and Cosy.
Pocket-Friendliness
Verdict - Recommended! We will be back to try more dessert and maybe other ice cream flavours!
